Bad News Buffalo’s – UB Cuts it’s Soccer Program. Star’s Heartfelt Response

The University of Buffalo took the decision to drop it’s soccer program – gingerly making the announcement on Monday. Men’s Soccer wasn’t the only victim in the cut; baseball, men’s swimming and diving and women’s rowing were also axed in an effort to reduce the school’s yearly spending by over $2 million.

The Buffalo News reported that the lack of other men’s soccer programs in the MAC was likely a big factor in the decision to drop men’s soccer. The administration considered four factors: program costs, athletic facilities, Title IX, geographic location and a comparison of sports sponsored by MAC schools.

Four-time All-Mid-American Conference selection, 2015 MAC Player of the Year and second-leading scorer in UB history, Russell Cicerone made his feelings clear in a letter posted on his twitter account. Cicerone became the first UB player picked by an MLS club when he was acquired in the second round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by Portland Timbers.

BU’s Soccer Facilities are out of this world..

The D1 Design Group recently spent time updating some of the athletic facilities at Baylor University – Baylor don’t have a Men’s program and these facilities are exclusively for the Lady Bears team who compete in the Big 12 conference. The Williams Family Soccer Building has everything a student-athlete could wish for and more. Watch the videos below to get an appreciation for how awesome this place is…

Freshman College Soccer Player Daniel Bruce of the Charlotte 49ers features in a skills challenge VS YouYuber ‘Thogden’. The up and coming YouTube star actually puts up a great fight and there’s some moments of technical brilliance from Bruce a.k.a “The Wasp” that are well worth watching.

Noriana Radwan – Soccer Star suing UCONN for revoking scholaship.

On Wednsay, our Facebook page featured Noriana Radwan, the college soccer player who was suspended from UCONN for giving ESPN cameras the middle finger in 2014. Subsequently she lost her scholarship and transferred to Hofstra. She thinks her treatment was excessive and is now attempting to sue UCONN for their actions…

Trust The Process: The Story of Fitchburg State
