On Wednsay, our Facebook page featured Noriana Radwan, the college soccer player who was suspended from UCONN for giving ESPN cameras the middle finger in 2014. Subsequently she lost her scholarship and transferred to Hofstra. She thinks her treatment was excessive and is now attempting to sue UCONN for their actions…

Here’s a great insight into College Soccer at the DIII level. The story documents a young Fitchburg State Soccer Team and their journey to the MASCAC championship. Last year, Fitchburg State was ranked worst in the league with a regular season record of 5-11, but the Falcons were able to overcome adversity and show their strength when it mattered most in 2016. It’s draft season! Major League Soccer has announced its first list of players who will feature at the 2017 MLS Player Combine in January. It’s likely there will be some amendments before the event kicks off in Los Angeles. A committee of MLS and NCAA Division I coaches from every conference selected the invitees, all of whom completed their college eligibility this season

Tied at 1-1 USC vs West Virginia looked too close to call – USC found two goals late on courtesy of Mexican international Katie Johnson to put the game out of reach and beat top-ranked West Virginia 3-1. It’s the second NCAA Division I women’s championship USC have brought home – a thrilling encounter at San Jose’s Avaya Stadium that lived up to all the hype.
